Entheos Audiology Cooperative is all about connecting groups of audiologist organizations under a single mission: people. Entheos Audiology Cooperative was founded on the principle that the practice of hearing healthcare is a privilege. Entheos believes that a give-as-you-go model is a tremendous way to serve one’s patients and community, while achieving the goals of independent practice ownership. Entheos also firmly believes that the key to reinvigorating practitioners is reconnecting them with the meaning of what they do everyday and highlighting these efforts in their communities in a new light. At Entheos, their goal is to connect people to greater meaning and allow their talents to shine. Entheos put the focus on people, not the bottom line.
The song was written around the idea of “Ubuntu”, which means “I am what I am because of who we all are”. Ubuntu is the concept of community with humanity, and can be summed up in the phrase “Me We”. A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, based from a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed.
